Governors

The governing body has representatives from the community, the local authority, parents and staff.  They meet in full session at least twice a term.  The governors have organised three committees with responsibility for the curriculum, finance and personnel and SHEF (safety, health, environment and fire regulations) .

The chairperson and his/her deputy are elected by the members of the governing body at the beginning of each new school year. Governors including the chair, can be contacted via the school office.  If you  are interested in becoming a  governor please contact the School Finance Officer (who is also the Clerk to the Governors) or visit Dorset County Council’s website.
